- 200 grolled oats
- 120 gcreamy peanut butterMilchErdnuss
- 80 mlhoney(or maple syrup for vegan option)
- 60 gmini chocolate chips
- 30 gchia seeds
- 5 mlvanilla extract
- 1 Prise(n)salt(to taste)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, mini chocolate chips, chia seeds, and salt. Mix well to ensure all dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
In a separate microwave-safe bowl, gently warm the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) for about 30 seconds, or until slightly softened and easier to mix. This helps to combine them smoothly.
Add the vanilla extract to the warmed peanut butter and honey mixture and stir until well combined.
Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Use a sturdy spoon or your hands to thoroughly mix everything together until a thick, uniform dough forms. Make sure there are no dry spots left.
Take small portions of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them between your palms to form compact balls. If the mixture is too sticky, you can lightly dampen your hands with water.
Place the energy balls on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up before serving. This will make them less crumbly and more enjoyable.
