- 200 gPitted Medjool dates
- 100 gThinly sliced bacon
- gCream cheese(optional)
- tspMaple syrup(optional, for glaze)
Instructions
If using cream cheese, carefully make a small incision along one side of each date and stuff with about half a teaspoon of cream cheese. Skip this step if not using cream cheese.
Cut each bacon slice in half lengthwise or crosswise, depending on the size of your dates, so that each date can be fully wrapped.
Wrap each date tightly with a piece of bacon. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if necessary to prevent it from unraveling during cooking.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the bacon-wrapped dates in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook in batches if needed.
Air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and golden brown. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model and bacon thickness. For an optional maple glaze, brush the dates with maple syrup during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
Carefully remove the dates from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks before serving.
