Dough
- 250 gall-purpose flour
- 30 ggranulated sugar
- 1 pinchsalt
- 7 gactive dry yeast
- 120 mlwarm milk
- 30 gunsalted butter(melted)Milch
Filling
- 50 gbrown sugar
- 10 gground cinnamon
- 20 gunsalted butter(softened)Milch
Glaze
- 50 gpowdered sugar
- 1 tbspmilk
Instructions
For the dough, combine flour, granulated sugar, salt, and yeast in a large bowl. Add warm milk and melted butter, and mix until a shaggy dough forms. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside. In another small bowl, soften the butter.
Once the dough has risen, punch it down gently and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, approximately 12x9 inches (30x23 cm).
Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough rectangle, leaving a small border on one long edge. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the butter.
Starting from the long edge, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal. Using a sharp knife or dental floss, cut the log into 6-8 equal slices (about 1.5 inches / 4 cm thick).
Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper. Place the cinnamon rolls in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them (you may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer). Do not overcrowd.
Air fry at 325°F (160°C) for 8-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model. Check for doneness and adjust as needed.
While the cinnamon rolls are cooking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth. If too thick, add a tiny bit more milk; if too thin, add more powdered sugar.
Once the cinnamon rolls are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly on a wire rack. Drizzle with the prepared glaze and serve warm. Enjoy your heavenly air fryer cinnamon rolls!
