- 900 gSmall potatoes(e.g., Yukon Gold or baby potatoes)
- 2 tbspOlive oil
- 1 tbspFresh rosemary(finely chopped)
- 1 tspGarlic powder
- 0.5 tspPaprika
- 1 tspSalt(or to taste)
- 0.5 tspBlack pepper(freshly ground, or to taste)
Instructions
Wash the potatoes thoroughly. If using larger potatoes, cut them into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes. Smaller potatoes can be halved or quartered depending on their size, ensuring all pieces are roughly the same size for even cooking.
In a large bowl, combine the potato pieces with olive oil, chopped fresh rosemary, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well until all the potatoes are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes. This helps achieve a crispier exterior.
Place the seasoned potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding, which can prevent them from getting crispy. Do not fill the basket more than halfway.
Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5-7 minutes to ensure even cooking and browning. The potatoes should be golden brown and fork-tender.
Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately. They are delicious as a side to roasted chicken, steak, or even a hearty salad.
