- 1 Prise(n)salt
Decoration
- 150 gdark chocolate(melted)
- 12 Stückmini chocolate squares(or small chocolate candies)
- 12 Stückgummy worms(or licorice laces for tassels)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
While cupcakes cool, prepare the buttercream: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined, then increase speed to medium-high and beat until fluffy. Add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt; beat until light and smooth.
For the graduation caps: On a sheet of parchment paper, spoon small circles (about 3-4 cm diameter) of melted dark chocolate. You'll need 12 circles. Place a mini chocolate square in the center of each chocolate circle while it's still wet. Let them set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Once the cupcakes are cool, pipe or spread a generous amount of buttercream frosting onto each cupcake.
Carefully place one set chocolate cap onto the center of each frosted cupcake. Cut the gummy worms or licorice laces into small tassel shapes and attach one to the side of each chocolate cap with a tiny dab of leftover melted chocolate or frosting.
Your Celebration Cap Cupcakes are ready to impress! Enjoy!
