- 300 gpasta(such as spaghetti or tagliatelle)Gluten
- 250 gcherry tomatoes
- 1 pcburrata(approx. 125g)
- 2 tbspolive oil
- 2 clovesgarlic(minced)
- 1 handfulfresh basil leaves(roughly torn)
- 1 pinchsalt(to taste)
- 1 pinchblack pepper(freshly ground, to taste)
- 30 mlpasta water(reserved)Gluten
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted water until al dente. Before draining, reserve about 1/4 cup (approx. 30 ml) of the pasta water.
While the pasta is cooking, halve the cherry tomatoes. Mince the garlic.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they begin to soften and burst. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Drain the cooked pasta and add it directly to the skillet with the tomatoes. Add the reserved pasta water and toss everything together to combine.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Gently tear the burrata into pieces and distribute them over the pasta. The residual heat will slightly melt the burrata, creating a creamy sauce. Add the fresh basil leaves.
Toss gently one last time to incorporate the burrata and basil. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious pasta!
