- 4 sheetsNo-boil lasagna noodles(broken to fit air fryer basket)
- 0.5 cupMozzarella cheese(shredded)Milch
- 0.25 cupParmesan cheese(grated)Milch
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and let it cook for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. This is your Bolognese sauce.
While the Bolognese is simmering, prepare the béchamel sauce. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, forming a roux.
Gradually whisk in the warm milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Continue to cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens. Season with a pinch of nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
To assemble the lasagna, find an air fryer-safe dish that fits your air fryer basket (a small loaf pan or an oven-safe bowl works well). Spread a thin layer of béchamel sauce on the bottom.
Place a layer of broken lasagna noodles over the béchamel. Top with a layer of Bolognese sauce, then a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
Repeat the layers: béchamel, noodles, Bolognese, and cheese. Finish with a final layer of béchamel and a generous amount of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Carefully place the dish into your air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, and the noodles are tender. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model.
Let the lasagna rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow it to set. Enjoy your lightning-fast air fryer lasagna!
💡 Tipp
Varianten
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with plant-based ground crumbles and use vegetable broth instead of beef broth.
- Add finely diced carrots and celery to the Bolognese for extra flavor and vegetables.
Ersatz & Alternativen
- If you don't have no-boil lasagna noodles, you can quickly par-boil regular lasagna noodles for a few minutes before assembling.
- Any mild, melty cheese can be used in place of mozzarella.
Aufbewahrung
Store leftover lasagna in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 300°F (150°C) for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
Einfrieren
This lasagna can be frozen before or after cooking. If freezing uncooked, cover tightly and bake from frozen at 350°F (175°C) for 45-60 minutes, or until bubbly. If freezing cooked, cool completely, wrap tightly, and freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer or oven.
