- 0.5 cupGreek yogurt
- 0.25 cupcucumber(grated)

- 1 tsplemon juice
- 4 piecespita bread
- 1 cupcherry tomatoes(halved)
- 0.5 cupred onion(thinly sliced)
- 0.5 cuplettuce(shredded)
Instructions
Pat the chicken thighs dry and slice them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick. In a medium bowl, combine the chicken strips with olive oil, oregano, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all chicken is coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator for best flavor.
While the chicken marinates, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber (squeezed to remove excess water), minced garlic, fresh dill, and lemon juice. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and refrigerate until serving.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes. Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

While the last batch of chicken is cooking, warm the pita bread. You can do this in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350°F (175°C), in a dry pan, or microwave until soft and pliable.
To assemble the gyros, spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on each warm pita. Pile a portion of the crispy chicken onto the pita, then top with cherry tomatoes, red onion, and shredded lettuce. Fold or roll up and serve immediately.
