- 400 gSalmon fillets(skin-on or skinless)
- 2 tbspOlive oil
- 1 tbspFresh lemon juice
- 1 tspDried oregano
- 0.5 tspDried thyme
- 1 cloveGarlic(minced)
- 1 pinchSalt(to taste)
- 1 pinchBlack pepper(to taste)
- 1 tbspFresh parsley(chopped, for garnish)
- 4 slicesLemon slices(for garnish)
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a crispier skin (if skin-on) and better seasoning adherence.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, dried oregano, dried thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or on a plate. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring both sides are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes at room temperature, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator if you have more time.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper designed for air fryers. Place the salmon fillets in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they don't overlap.
Air fry for 10-14 minutes, depending on the thickness of your salmon and your desired doneness. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 125-130°F (52-54°C). For medium, 135-140°F (57-60°C). The salmon should flake easily with a fork.
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
