- 500 gVanilla Ice Cream(high quality)
Strawberry Sauce
- 300 gFresh Strawberries
- 50 gPowdered Sugar
- 1 tspLemon Juice
- 200 mlHeavy Cream
- 2 tbspPowdered Sugar(for whipped cream)
- 50 gWhite Chocolate(for garnish)
Instructions
First, prepare the strawberry sauce. Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut them into small pieces. Place them in a blender with 50g of powdered sugar and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a thinner sauce, you can add a tablespoon or two of water. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill.
Whip the heavy cream with 2 tbsp of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
For the 'spaghetti', slightly soften the vanilla ice cream at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes. It should be soft enough to press, but not melted.
Place a portion of the softened vanilla ice cream into a spaetzle press or potato ricer. Press the ice cream directly into a chilled dessert bowl, forming 'spaghetti' strands.
Spoon a generous amount of the prepared strawberry sauce over the ice cream 'spaghetti'.
Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
Finally, grate white chocolate over the top to resemble Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!
💡 Tipp
Varianten
- Use other ice cream flavors like chocolate or pistachio.
- Experiment with different fruit sauces, such as raspberry or cherry.
Ersatz & Alternativen
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut-based vanilla ice cream and coconut cream for whipping.
- Instead of white chocolate, you can use finely chopped almonds or sprinkles for garnish.
Aufbewahrung
Spaghetti ice cream is best enjoyed immediately after preparation. It does not store well as a finished dish.
Einfrieren
The components (ice cream, sauce, whipped cream) can be stored separately. Ice cream in its original container, sauce in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. Whipped cream should be made fresh.
