- 200 gunsalted butter(softened)Milch
- 50 gwild garlic(fresh)
- 1 ealemon(organic)
- 1 pinchsalt(to taste)
- 1 pinchblack pepper(freshly ground, to taste)
- 1 eabaguette(fresh)
Instructions
Wash the wild garlic thoroughly and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Finely chop the wild garlic leaves.
Grate the zest of the lemon and then squeeze out the juice. Be careful not to include any white pith from the lemon zest, as it can be bitter.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter with the chopped wild garlic, lemon zest, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Season the wild garlic butter with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Mix again and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Slice the baguette into thick pieces. You can either spread the butter directly onto the baguette slices or serve it in a small bowl alongside the bread.
For an extra flavor kick, you can briefly toast the baguette slices before spreading the butter.
