- 200 gFeta cheese block
- 400 gCherry tomatoes
- 2 clovesGarlic(minced)
- 2 tbspOlive oil
- 0.5 tspDried oregano
- 1 pinchSalt(to taste)
- 1 pinchBlack pepper(to taste)
- 250 gPasta(such as penne or fusilli)Gluten
- 120 mlHeavy cream
- 30 gFresh basil(chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In an air fryer-safe baking dish or basket, place the block of feta cheese in the center. Arrange the cherry tomatoes around the feta.
Drizzle the feta and tomatoes with olive oil. Add the minced garlic and dried oregano. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Air fry for 15-20 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden, and the tomatoes have burst and are juicy. Carefully remove from the air fryer.
While the feta and tomatoes are air frying, cook the pasta according to package directions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Once the feta and tomatoes are done, gently mash them with a fork in the baking dish to create a creamy sauce. Stir in the heavy cream until well combined.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss everything together, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
